Our first whites of 2018 show a great balance and expression of aromas thanks to a cool year

Koyle Costa Cuarzo Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat Don Cande are already in the market and with them we inaugurate the 2018 Vintage.

This year the coastal zone, both in Paredones (Colchagua) and in Coelemu (Itata), where these wines come from, presented a very cool month of March, with some little rain at the beginning of that month that helped to cool down the soil and facilitated a slow and very homogeneous ripe of the grape. The result? Wines with expressive aromas and very good balance of acidity / alcohol.

Koyle Costa Cuarzo Sauvignon Blanc 2018 comes from a vineyard located just 9 kilometers from the coast, where the grapes capture all the salinity of the sea and minerals from ancient coastal soils. It seduces with its fresh aromas of white peach, nectarine and melon with a pleasant flavor of dried apricot, white tea and a touch of ginger. With a refreshing acidity, it delivers a juicy and persistent finish. Serve at 7-10 ° C.

Muscat Don Cande 2018 is born from a vineyard of more than 50 years that survives without irrigation and whose grapes were vinified with minimal intervention to maintain the cleanest and most intense expression of this unique terroir. In this way, the aromas, balance and minerality of this place are expressed in each bottle. Very fresh aroma, with notes of white nectarine, lychee, mustard seeds and ripened damask at the end, its texture is elegant and vibrant, with salty and fresh notes. Serve at 6-8 ° C.
