Our first whites of 2018 show a great balance and expression of aromas thanks to a cool year

Koyle Costa Cuarzo Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat Don Cande are already in the market and with them we inaugurate the 2018 Vintage. This year the coastal zone, both in Paredones (Colchagua) and in Coelemu (Itata), where these wines come from, presented a very cool month of March, with some little rain at the beginning of that month that helped to cool down the soil and facilitated a slow and very homogeneous ripe of the grape. The result? Wines with expressive aromas and very good balance of acidity / alcohol.

September arrived, a month full of celebrations

Since the Chilean Wine Day was established in 2015, the month of September has a new meaning for lovers of this drink. To the traditional celebration of Fiestas Patrias now we add this special day on September 4th, a date that refers to the first written mention of the word "wine" in Chilean territory and corresponds to a letter written on September 4th of 1545 by Pedro de Valdivia to King Carlos V, in which he requested "vines and wines to evangelize Chile".
