Respect

More than a job, it's our mission: Koyle is the result of a love for the land and for those who care for it.

The union of soil, climate, and our people

At Koyle we believe wine is born from a deep bond between people, the land, and its surroundings. We farm our vines organically and biodynamically because we feel immense respect for nature and for the legacy we leave behind. Every grape is hand-harvested, following the rhythms of the land, and every wine ferments with its own wild yeasts, expressing the purity of Los Lingues.

We work without chemicals, relying on natural methods that keep the soil alive and strengthen biodiversity. For us, making wine is an act of love and patience: we accompany the fruit with minimal intervention, letting every bottle tell its truth. In every sip there is history, there is origin, and there is an honest commitment to the land that sustains us.

The secret of great wines

Organic farming

Koyle is built on three pillars that hold everything up: people, place, and their surroundings. At every harvest, our hand-picked grapes are treated with minimal-intervention winemaking, keeping their purest expression, natural freshness, and finesse intact. Each wine then rests for as long as it needs, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to reach the bottle.

Our vineyard grows without shortcuts: no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. We work with the land, not against it, fostering soil health and biodiversity through entirely natural methods. This commitment lets us craft wines that are more sustainable, honest, and deeply connected to their origin — all backed by official certifications that guarantee work free of chemicals and true to nature.

What makes Koyle a special organic winery?

Free of chemicals

No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Only natural amendments, like compost, that nourish the land authentically.

Living soil

We protect life underground, keeping the soil fertile and attracting beneficial insects and local fauna. The earth breathes, and so does the wine.

Biodiversity in balance

A diverse ecosystem is cultivated within the vineyard, creating a more resilient, expressive, and unique terroir.

Sustainable production

Every resource is used responsibly. We seek balance with the environment, always thinking of the generations to come.

Conscious winemaking

The process is organic too. We trust natural yeasts and minimize additives so the wine faithfully reflects its origin.

The people behind these vineyards are hard-working, with a connection to the land so deep that they create wines which are an authentic expression of their surroundings, through regenerative, conscious care of the vineyard's ecosystem.

Biodynamic farming

At Koyle, biodynamics is an intimate and authentic way of connecting with nature. This method lets us reach the perfect balance to craft unique wines that express harmony between the land, the cosmos, the ecosystem, and human work. Our commitment is to build a winegrowing project that makes Koyle a benchmark in biodynamic farming, always using sustainable practices to obtain healthy grapes that reflect the best of their origin. Thanks to this work, our soils now have more life, better aeration, and deeper roots, which translates into purer, more balanced wines. This entire path has a single purpose: to offer a unique experience in every bottle.

Our Vineyards

Finca Los Lingues

We chose this place for its unique character: a Mediterranean foothill microclimate, marked by cool winds descending from the mountains that keep the vineyard in natural balance. Well-drained soils, clay-textured and rich in volcanic rock, give our vines the essential minerals to reach their fullest expression.

The vineyard sits on a matrix of basalt rock in varying stages of decomposition. This living soil, with its fragmented alterites, provides the perfect balance between vigor, yield and quality, while imprinting the unmistakable mineral notes that come from deep root extraction.

All of this translates into an exceptional terroir, ideal for crafting red wines of great character, where the identity of the place is expressed in every glass.

People

Those who bring our land to life

At Koyle we believe a great wine is born not only from the land, but from the people who work it. We have local teams who are an essential part of our history and our present, many with more than 20 years devoted to caring for the vineyard and crafting the wine.

As a biodynamic farm, we understand the vineyard as a living, interconnected organism, where every element plays a role: the soil, the plants, the animals, the people, and the natural cycles. Everything matters, and everything influences the balance of the place.

Their knowledge, commitment, and connection with their surroundings are essential to sustaining this relationship between nature and human work. So at Koyle, people and land come together for the same purpose: to give life to wines that express identity, origin, and quality in every bottle.
