Cerro Basalto
Cuartel G2
Carménère · Cabernet Franc
The grapes are harvested from very small, selected plots in high-density vineyards across the Colchagua Valley. Coming from rocky hillsides, the roots draw minerals and freshness from these volcanic basalt soils. The vines are pruned with double Guyot, under strict canopy management and controlled irrigation to fully express their origin.

Cerro Basalto · Cuartel G2
Pairing
Skirt steak, ribeye and duck magret
A more concentrated expression of Carménère, lifted by a good share of Cabernet Franc that adds body, fruit aromatics and brighter acidity. Ideal alongside rich, spiced dishes such as grilled skirt steak or a ribeye with rustic potatoes and butter. As a micro-terroir Carménère, it calls for refined dishes: duck magret with a red-berry reduction, herb-crusted sirloin, or aged hard cheeses.
