Cerro Basalto Mediterráneo

Cerro Basalto

Mediterráneo

Monastrell · Garnacha · Cariñena · Syrah

The grapes are harvested from very small, selected plots in high-density vineyards across the Colchagua Valley. Coming from rocky hillsides, the roots draw minerals and freshness from these volcanic basalt soils. The vines are pruned with double Guyot, under strict canopy management and controlled irrigation to fully express their origin.

Cerro Basalto Mediterráneo
Tomato-based pastas, lasagna and grilled eggplant

Cerro Basalto · Mediterráneo

Pairing

Tomato-based pastas, lasagna and grilled eggplant

A Mediterranean-style blend with medium acidity and good structure that cuts through sauces. Ideal with tomato-based pastas, lasagna, grilled eggplant and charcuterie boards. Being a Mediterranean-style assemblage, it shines with dishes built on olive oil, olives, garlic and Provençal herbs: rosemary-roasted lamb, Greek moussaka, or truffle-based pasta sauces.
